Emmy Awards
The wait is almost over. The 67th Primetime Emmy awards are quickly approaching. On Sunday, September 20th, viewers have the opportunity to tune in to FOX (from 7 pm to 10 pm) to celebrate this season of some of our favorite television hits. The Emmys have a profound tradition for peer recognition in excellent television and media. There are more than 18,500 participant voters each year.
Beginning in 1949, the first Emmy was distributed. However, in 1970, the first Daytime Emmy was created, causing some confusion between the two. Eventually, “primetime” was tacked on to the name to tell the difference between the two ceremonies.
This year’s top honors will be presented by none other than Andy Samberg (Saturday Night Live), and produced by Emmy Award Winning Don Mischer, along with Juliane Hare and Charlie Haykel.
Why tune in to watch the ceremony taking place in Los Angeles?
