Pack Is Back! Catch the Games All Season Long

With the passing of Labor Day, many people around the country mourn the loss of summer. If you’re from Wisconsin, however, the best time of the year is just beginning. And we’re not talking about Christmas. That’s right—the Pack is back! Starting this Sunday, the 11th, catch the first Green Bay Packers game of the season. As the Pack takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars, it’s going to be a great season! Catch the game at JB’s on 41. Starting at noon on September 11, you’ll get to watch all your favorites again, including Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, and Randall Cobb. However, one of the biggest anticipations surrounding Packer fandom is the return of wide receiver Jordy Nelson. He’ll be ready to take on the Jaguars and remind fans what kind of fire and talent he brings to the game.

Here’s what to expect for the Packers’ 2016-17 season

We know you’re enthusiastic about the first Pack game of the season. But if you’re like us, you’re really looking forward to seeing some of the classic football franchises face each other! The next game for the Pack is on September 18 against the Minnesota Vikings. The home opener of the season is on September 25 against the Detroit Lions—talk about age-old rivalries! These two opponents will also be a good way to close out the month of September before the bye week. Plus, football fanatics are anticipating many wins for our beloved Pack. According to the NFL, the Packers typically have been a very good September team, including last season when they were 3-0 in September.

Of course the fun doesn’t stop there, as the Packers have many more games to play in October, November, December, and January. With the age-old rivalry of Pack-Bears scheduled for October 20, we can’t wait. But before that, one of the most anticipated games of the season takes place on Sunday, October 16. This is when the Dallas Cowboys will be facing off against the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys and Packers have a history of talented quarterbacks competing against each other for the win and for awards like MVP. The rivalry used to be Don Meredith against Bart Starr. Then it carried on to Troy Aikman and Brett Favre. Tony Romo and Aaron Rodgers continue this trend, and we can’t wait to see the outcome of the game!

Then, week 9 brings us to Sunday, November 6: Indianapolis Colts versus the Pack, at Lambeau Field. The last time these franchises met was in 2012, and everyone is wondering whether or not the Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck will rebound from the worst season of his professional career last year. Is he up for the challenge of Aaron Rodgers and company? We’ll see in November!
